WHAT IS ELECTROLYSIS?
Electrolysis is a permanent hair removal method that works by treating each hair individually at the root. A very fine, sterile probe is gently inserted into the hair follicle, and a small amount of electrical or thermal energy is applied to destroy the cells responsible for hair growth. The treated hair is then removed with tweezers.
It is safe for all skin tones and hair types, including light, gray, red, and fine hairs that laser treatments can’t target. With consistent sessions, it delivers long-lasting, permanent results for smooth, hair-free skin.
CANCELLATION POLICY

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for any cancellations or rescheduling.

This allows the appointment time to be offered to another client.

Appointments cancelled without at least 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

In the case of a no-show consultation, a new consultation will not be scheduled unless the absence was due to an emergency.

Electrolysis permanently destroys the hair follicle by targeting the cells responsible for hair growth.
There are three main methods used today:

Galvanic: Uses a direct current (DC) to create a chemical reaction in the follicle that breaks down growth cells.

Thermolysis: Uses alternating current (AC) and high-frequency heat to destroy the follicle with targeted thermal energy.

Blend: Combines both DC and AC methods for faster and more effective tissue destruction.
Everyone is different as to what they feel. Some clients report feeling warmth, zap, little pinch, or a sting. The level of discomfort varies widely and is based on the individual’s pain tolerance. Most people find it tolerable and some people have even fallen asleep. I offer a free in person consultation where I will give you a sample treatment so you can know what it feels like.
ARE THERE ANY REACTIONS?
HOW LONG WILL ELECTROLYSIS TAKE?
Electrolysis is a dual commitment and requires a series of appointments over time. Multiple treatments are required as we work with the hair growth cycle and other factors. The overall length will depend on hair density, area being treated, hormonal influences, sensitivity of the skin, genetic factors, medications, and frequency of treatments. An individual treatment plan is created after reviewing the goals and relevant medical information.
It is normal to experience some redness and mild irritation following electrolysis session. These reactions typically subside within 30 minutes to a few hours. I apply witch hazel and Zensa healing cream immediately after treatment to cool and promote healing.
